“Jesus took the bread, blessed and broke it, and gave thanks and gave it to the disciples and said, ‘Take, eat; this is My body.’ Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, ‘Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”

The most important element and primary worship of our church is the Divine Liturgy. It is the central experience of our faith and invites our parish to come as we are to give glory to God. Through it, we participate in the supernatural life, uniting us with all the saints and angels, to partake in the Eucharistic sacrifice and receive inspiration for our spiritual lives. Through God’s gift of grace operating through the liturgy, our parish have been able to bear fruit interiorly and exteriorly by moving to action, transforming those around us and fulfilling the good works of faith communicated in the liturgy. Whatever challenges, problems, hardships, backgrounds, race, we invite all to attend and experience this unifying connection with God that our church received from our Apostolic Fathers, through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, so that we may be transformed into our true self and may grow into our potential God has called our church to. “ሲበሉም ኢየሱስ እንጀራን አንሥቶ ባረከ ቈርሶም ለደቀ መዛሙርቱ ሰጠና። እንካችሁ፥ ብሉ ይህ ሥጋዬ ነው አለ። ጽዋንም አንሥቶ አመስግኖም ሰጣቸው እንዲህም አለ። ሁላችሁ ከእርሱ ጠጡ፤ ስለ ብዙዎች ለኃጢአት ይቅርታ የሚፈስ የአዲስ ኪዳን ደሜ ይህ ነው።”
የማቴዎስ ወንጌል: 26-28

የቤተ ክርስቲያናችን ዋና አካል እና ዋና አምልኮ ቅዳሴ ነው። ቅዳሴው የእምነታችን ማዕከላዊ ልምድ ነው። ደብራችንም ለእግዚአብሔር ክብር ለመስጠት ባለንበት ሁኔታ እንድንመጣ ይጋብዛል። በእሱ አማካኝነት፣ ከቅዱሳን እና ከመላዕክት ጋር አንድ በማድረግ፣ ቅዱስ ቁርባንን እንድንቀበልና እና በመንፈሳዊ ህይወታችን እንድንነሶሶ ይረዳናል።

በቅዳሴ ጊዜ በሚሠራው የእግዚአብሔር የጸጋ ስጦታ፣ ደብራችን ወደ ተግባር በመንቀሳቀስ፣ በዙሪያችን ያሉትን በመለወጥ እና በሥርዓተ አምልኮ ውስጥ የተነገሩትን መልካም የእምነት ሥራዎችን በመፈጸም ከውስጥም ከውጭም ፍሬ ማፍራት ችሏል።

ከየትኛውም ተግዳሮት፣ ችግር፣ መከራ፣ አስተዳደግ ወይም ዘር የመጣን ሁሉ ተገኝተን ይህንን የእግዚአብሔርን አንድነት ከሐዋርያት አባቶቻችን በጌታችንና በመድኃኒታችን በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ በኩል ያገኘችውን የእግዚአብሔርን አንድነት እንዲለማመዱ እንጋብዛለን። ይህም ወደ እውነተኛ ማንነታችን እንድንለወጥ እና እግዚአብሔር ቤተ ክርስቲያናችንን ወደ ጠራት አቅማችን እንድናድግ ይረዳናል።

ሳምንታዊ መለኮታዊ ቅዳሴ ዘወትር እሁድ በ6፡30 am ይጀምራል። ለወንዶችም ለሴቶችም ከነጠላ ጋር በልክ እንድትለብሱ እንጠይቃለን። የኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ክርስቲያን የሆነ ወንድም ወይም እህት ብቻ ነው ቅዱስ ቁርባንን ተቀብሎ የእሁድ ወይም የበዓል ቅን ግዴታውን ሊወጣ የሚችለው።

💍 Wedding (Holy Matrimony)💍 ጋብቻ (ቅዱስ ተክሊል)

“So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.” Matthew 19:6 The beauty of the Marriage Divine Service reveals a vision of marriage as an icon of the nature and life of God. It is God Himself, through His priest and His Church, Who unites the couple and maintains them in peace and oneness of mind through the Divine Liturgy and Holy Eucharist. The Service includes many prayers that, just as God blessed various holy people in the Biblical past, so He might also now grant His blessings of peace, harmony, love, chastity, children and a holy life upon the bride and groom. Because Holy Matrimony is a sacrament, our church wants couples to be well-prepared. We offer a preparation process which will help couples develop a better understanding of the sacrament, to evaluate and deepen their readiness to live married life, and to gain insights into themselves as individuals and as a couple. Our Parish is grateful for the opportunity to provide this service to couples as they embark on this new stage of life. Please request at least 2 months in advance. “ስለዚህ አንድ ሥጋ ናቸው እንጂ ወደ ፊት ሁለት አይደሉም። እግዚአብሔር ያጣመረውን እንግዲህ ሰው አይለየው።” የማቴዎስ ወንጌል 19:6 የመለኮታዊው የጋብቻ አገልግሎት ውበት የጋብቻን ራዕይ የእግዚአብሔርን ተፈጥሮ እና ሕይወት ምሳሌ ያሳያል። ጥንዶቹን አንድ ያደረጋቸው እና በመለኮታዊ ቅዳሴ እና በቅዱስ ቁርባን አማካኝነት በሰላም እና በአንድ አእምሮ የሚጠብቃቸው ራሱ እግዚአብሔር ነው። አገልግሎቱ ብዙ ጸሎቶች አሉት። በእነዚህ ጸሎቶች እግዚአብሔር በመጽሐፍ ቅዱስ ቅዱሳን ሰዎችን እንደባረከ ዛሬም ሙሽሮችንና ሙሽሮችን እንዲባርክ እንጠይቃለን። ሰላምን፣ አንድነትን፣ ፍቅርን፣ ንጽሕናን፣ ልጆችንና የተቀደሰ ሕይወት እንዲሰጣቸው እንጸልያለን። ቅዱስ ጋብቻ ከምሥጢራት ስለሆነ ቤተ ክርስቲያናችን ጥንዶች በደንብ እንዲዘጋጁ ትፈልጋለች። ባለትዳሮች የቅዱስ ተክሊል ትርጉም በጥልቀት እንዲረዱ ለመርዳት የዝግጅት ሂደት እናቀርባለን። በዚህ ሂደት ለጋብቻ ህይወት ያላቸውን ዝግጁነት ያጠናክራሉ እናም ስለራሳቸው እንደ ግለሰብ እና እንደ ባልና ሚስት የበለጠ መማር ይችላሉ። ጥንዶች ወደዚህ አዲስ የህይወት ምዕራፍ ሲገቡ ይህንን አገልግሎት ለመስጠት ስለቻለ ደብራችን ለእግዚአብሔር ምስጋናውን ያቀርባል። ቢያንስ ከ2 ወር በፊት ይጠይቁ።

💍Confession💍 ንስሐ

"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" 1 John 1:9 In the eyes of the world, many of us are good people. Sin and the confession of sins, however, have very little to do with being a “good person”. As Orthodox Christians, we are not called to be simply good; we are called to be perfect, as God our Heavenly Father is perfect. Yet we have all sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Through the Mystery of Confession, we are presented the renewal of our saving work of our baptism and allow the healing power of God to restore our relationship with Him by confessing our sins, which had been broken by our sin. In our Ethiopian Orthodox Traditions; however, to receive absolution, the Mystery of Confession is done in the presence of a priest. To help better understand the Mystery of Confession and prepare to receive the Sacrament, we recommend to connect with our parish fathers so that the benefits of this blessed Mystery can have untold lasting effects on your relationships, spiritual, physical, and mental health, and other areas of life. “በኃጢአታችን ብንናዘዝ ኃጢአታችንን ይቅር ሊለን ከዓመፃም ሁሉ ሊያነጻን የታመነና ጻድቅ ነው።” 1ኛ የዮሐንስ መልእክት 1:9 በአለም እይታ ብዙዎቻችን ጥሩ ሰዎች ነን። ኃጢአት እና የኃጢአት መናዘዝ ግን "ጥሩ ሰው" ከመሆን ጋር ግንኙነት የላቸውም. በኦርቶዶክስ ክርስትና፣ ጥሩ ሰው እንድንሆን ብቻ ሳይሆን፣ የሰማይ አባታችን ፍፁም እንደ ሆነ ፍፁም እንድንሆን ነው የምንጠራው። እኛ ግን ሁላችንም ኃጢአተኛ ነን፣ የእግዚአብሔርም ክብር ጎድሎናል። በምስጢረ ንስሐ፣ ኃጢአታችንን ለእግዚአብሔር እንናዘዛለን። ይህን በማድረግ፣ የጥምቀታችን ጸጋ ይታደሳል፣ እና በኃጢአት ከተበላሸው ከእርሱ ጋር ያለንን ግንኙነት፣ በእግዚአብሔር የፈውስ ኃይል፣ ያድስልናል። ነገር ግን፣ በኦርቶዶክስ ተዋህዶ ቤተክርስቲያን ሥርዓት፣ የኃጢአት ስርየትን ለመቀበል፣ ምሥጢረ ንስሐ በካህኑ ፊት መፈፀም አለበት። ምስጢረ ንስሐን በተሻለ መንገድ ለመረዳት እና ሥርዓተ ቁርባንን ለመቀበል ለመዘጋጀት የዚህ የተባረከ ምስጢር ጥቅማ ጥቅሞች በግንኙነታችሁ፣ በመንፈሳዊ፣ በሥጋዊ እና በአእምሮአዊ ጤንነትዎ እና በሌሎችም የሕይወት ዘርፎች ላይ ያልተነገረ ዘላቂ ተጽእኖ እንዲያሳድር ከቤተክርስቲያናችን አባቶች ጋር እንድትገናኙ እንመክራለን።
